Circuit Moto Cross de la Heide (Steinbourg)

The Circuit de la Heide at Steinbourg near Saverne belongs to the Moto Club de la Zorn, which states that it was founded in 1995 and runs motocross, supercross and mini moto. The club publishes its own hours: Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1.30pm to 5.30pm, Sundays and public holidays from 9.30am to noon and from 1pm to 5.30pm. On Wednesdays the large and the small track alternate week by week - in odd weeks the big course is open, in even weeks the small one. On Saturdays and Wednesdays a day costs 15 euros from 125cc, 10 euros up to 85cc and 25 euros for quads and sidecars; on Sundays and holidays it is 20, 15 and 30 euros. An FFM licence is mandatory, explicitly for foreign riders too, and a day licence can be bought online in advance. More than three quads or sidecars on the track at once means the categories are split into separate sessions. The club also offers riding school courses and rents the circuit out for training camps; mxcircuit.fr additionally lists a children's track and describes the ground as earth with stones. Earth with a stone content dries into a hard, slick blanket, and the front end is the first thing to go vague on it.
