What LAISA is

LAISA is a cross-brand motorcycle setup platform. It answers one question: “this bike, these conditions, my riding - where do I start?” The answer is a set of concrete values, the order in which to change them, and one test per change.

The difference from a forum thread is provenance: every value visibly carries where it came from - a manufacturer default, a released reference setup, a community median, or a value computed by the LAISA engine. What LAISA cannot back up is shown as missing rather than estimated.

How the values are derived is described in detail under How it works.

Who releases the values

Sebastian Braun - Motorcycle suspension and setup specialist (DR|BRAUN), superbike/track background. Reviews and releases the reference setups that carry the verified provenance tag.

That is the only person named behind the content. LAISA has no editorial staff and no advisory board today, and this page does not invent either - where a value was not released by a person, it carries the provenance “computed” and says so on the setup page.

What LAISA covers

Coverage today

Every number states the gate it was measured under - a platform that is vague about its own size is credible nowhere else.

Official presences

The platform runs at laisa.ridetrion.com. The parent brand is ridetrion.com. There are no other official profiles at present - accounts LAISA does not operate itself are deliberately not listed here.

Citing LAISA

Content may be quoted with the attribution “LAISA by TRION” and a link to the specific page. Please carry the provenance with it: a computed starting value is not a manufacturer specification.

The machine-readable map is at /llms.txt.

Note on setup recommendations

Setup values on LAISA are non-binding starting points, not a safety guarantee. Verify every setting on your own vehicle and adapt it to the vehicle, conditions and skill.
