The Circuit Moto Cross de Bourg-Bruche in the Bas-Rhin is run by the Moto Club Vallee de la Bruche. The MX Circuit track directory gives a length of 1,750 metres at 7 metres wide and describes the ground as earth and stones. Practice runs on fixed dates: the first, third and fifth Saturday of the month from 2 pm to 6 pm, plus the second and fourth Sunday from 9 am to midday. The day rate is 10 euros. An FFM or UFOLEP licence is required; motorcycles, quads and sidecars are all admitted, so the track is open to sidecar outfits as well. Roland Bossong is named as the club contact. Earth with a stone content stays firm rather than breaking up; our record lists the track as hardpack. On ground like that hard braking bumps form quickly on corner entry, and you feel them in the fork first: it stops working through its stroke cleanly, goes harsh and kicks back.
