Information on the processing of personal data under the GDPR
1. Controller
Sebastian Braun, Buchenring 10, 76297 Stutensee, Deutschland
Email: i@ridetrion.com
2. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) at any time. You may withdraw any consent given with effect for the future. To do so, contact the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website runs on servers in the EU (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany); a content delivery network/proxy (Cloudflare) is used for delivery and security. When the site is accessed, technically necessary access data is processed (incl. IP address, date/time, requested resource, browser type). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data processing agreements are in place with the providers where required.
4. Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies - in particular a session cookie that keeps you signed in. The login does not work without it. We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. Legal basis: § 25(2) TDDDG (strictly necessary) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Account, sign-in and user content
For sign-in we use a passwordless method: you receive a sign-in link or one-time code by email. We process your email address and the content you create (e.g. garage, bikes, setups, saved tracks, ratings). The purpose is to provide your account and its features; the legal basis is performance of the user relationship (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can request deletion of your account at any time.
6. Email delivery
To send sign-in emails (link/code) and transactional emails we use an email/SMTP provider. Your email address and the message content are processed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
7. Usage analytics
To improve the service we collect anonymous usage events in our own infrastructure (e.g. page viewed, search term, bike/track viewed). No IP addresses are stored; a link to your account is only made while you are signed in. No cross-site tracking takes place. Legal basis: legitimate interest in product improvement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
8. Maps (Mapbox)
To display track maps we use Mapbox (Mapbox, Inc., USA). When a map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Mapbox so the map tiles can be delivered. Legal basis: legitimate interest in an appealing map display (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A transfer to the USA may occur.
9. External content (3D viewer)
For the 3D motorcycle view, program libraries are loaded from a content delivery network (unpkg / Cloudflare). Your IP address is transmitted to the respective provider. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the feature (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
10. Affiliate links
Some outbound links to shops and providers are affiliate links. When you click such a link, we route you via our own redirect (/go) to the provider; we count clicks anonymously (without storing IPs) to settle referrals. The destination sites are independent services with their own privacy policies and may set their own cookies.
11. Retention
Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. Account data is removed when you delete your account.
12. Data security
Data is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
13. Setup Pass (workshop handovers)
Workshops and tuners can hand you a "Setup Pass" via LAISA: your suspension settings, available via a personal link/QR code. If the workshop enters your email address for delivery, it confirms to us that you consented to receiving it; the address is used only for delivery and for matching the pass to you. Pass data stays available for as long as the service exists, but at least 5 years from issuance - the link on the printed work order must not rot. Deletion at any time: if you saved the pass into your account, it is removed when you delete your account; without an account, an email to the address above suffices (matched via the delivery email address). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.
