What defines the Entraigues circuit in the Vaucluse is in the club's small print: the ground is tilled and watered before every training session - except when the mistral is blowing. Anyone who has ridden in Provence knows why that sentence matters. Moto-Club Entraiguois opens at Chemin du Plan on the last Saturday and Sunday of the month, 10 to 12 and 1:30 to 6:30 pm, plus the first Wednesday of the school holidays. Guests pay 20 euros, members 5. Plan your day around that: on freshly worked, damp ground you get a few hours of real grip - and they belong to the rider who is there early rather than warming up at two in the afternoon. That is exactly the condition in which the typical problem appears: the front knifes and oversteers in the rut.
