Motocross Frontignan La Cible

The La Cible track lies on the Route de Balaruc in Frontignan, between Sete and the Etang de Thau, and belongs to Moto Club Frontignan La Cible. The directory mxcircuit.fr gives 1750 metres of length at 5 to 16 metres wide on topsoil, opening on the first and third Sunday of the month from 9:00 to 18:00, a 12 euro day rate and a mandatory FFM licence; bikes only. In the month before a race the track stays closed according to the same entry. Listed facilities are toilets, showers, water and a campsite. The town of Frontignan lists the club in its association register and describes it as instruction and practice in off-road riding from the age of five, with supervised sessions on Wednesday afternoons, Thursday evenings and Saturdays during term time. Our record holds this as a fast course with jumps, and jumps are what a 5 to 16 metre wide layout builds its line choice around: you arrive at the face carrying speed, and what the rear does there decides the rest of the flight. Top of our cause list for that is a bike that kicks and bucks off the jump face. The strongest cause is rebound returning too fast and launching the rear off the lip - slow it down by winding a few clicks back in.
