Circuito del Cerro Negro at Talavera de la Reina carries the official name Carlos Martinez Zorita and is organised by Moto Club Talavera, whose office is at Avenida de Toledo 31. On its own site the club documents international events at the venue, among them the opening round of the 2023 Sidecarcross World Championship on 25 and 26 March 2023. The track directory mxcircuit.es additionally records a Motocross World Championship round in 2016 and describes natural terrain with pronounced climbs and descents; there the venue is listed as open all day and free to use, with toilets among the facilities but no bar and no wash area. The length and width of the motocross track are not publicly documented; we have hard-packed ground on file. On terrain with elevation changes and jumps it is less the take-off that decides the outcome than what the rear does on the face: if rebound returns too fast it launches the rear wheel and throws the bike sideways in the air. Top of our cause list here is rear rebound set too fast - slow it down and the rear stays settled on the jump face.
