The Regina track sits in Contrada Marignano near Potenza Picena in the Marche region and is run by Moto Club Monteluponese. The circuit measures 1,830 metres and holds a UISP homologation in category 4. The mxcenter.it track directory lists training from Tuesday to Saturday from 2 pm and on Sunday from 9 am, together with an explicit note to call the operator before you set off. Besides the motocross circuit the site holds a minicross track, a dirt course for pit bikes and motards, a taped enduro loop, a speedway oval and a freestyle park. Hot and cold showers and 220 V sockets are available, floodlights are not; the directory lists no permanent bar, and Turismo Marche notes that the club sets up a refreshment area for race events. Turismo Marche describes the venue as a flat stretch between Recanati, Potenza Picena and Montelupone: the ground takes rain water well and does not get excessively dusty in summer, which is why it can be ridden all year round. Flat ground with reliable grip means a high average speed, and that is exactly where a vague, restless feeling in fast sweepers turns up first. Top of our cause list for that is a ride-height and sag balance that is off - so set your sag first, before you touch compression or rebound.
