1800 metres, and inside them: seven table jumps, four single jumps, one step-up, a whoop section with five waves and seven further rollers. That is how the Slovak federation lists Motopark Trenčín, run by Teo Kunštek. Besides the motocross course, the site holds a cross-country track, a lane for side-by-side vehicles and a large extreme test area for enduro training. Practice runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 14:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 11:00 to 18:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. One rule is stated particularly plainly: training without prior notice and agreement with the operator is strictly forbidden. The track is prepared according to the weather, and watering for training groups is available on request. Twelve jumps over 1800 metres works out at one every 150 metres, with the whoop section in between. This is a rhythm course, not a strength course: carry the whoops cleanly and you arrive at the next face at the right speed. That is exactly where the common problem sits: the bike kicks off the jump face instead of leaving cleanly. Top of our list is rear rebound - returning too fast, it launches the rear; slow it down.
