The track at Loibes in northern Lower Austria is run as the Loibes Motorsport Club (LMC). The club lists three membership levels: 26 euros a year for friends and helpers, 260 euros a year for rider members, and 30 euros per training day as a guest day pass. The site covers around 6 hectares, the course is 1550 metres long and has fourteen corners, seven left and seven right, plus thirteen jumps made up of singles, doubles and tabletops as well as whoops and rollers. There is a separate bambini area for young riders. The track directory CrossNews additionally lists a separate children's track, a canteen open during training hours, new toilet facilities with showers and camping in the paddock with lighting and power; a bike wash, parking and power hook-ups are named by the club itself. The course is maintained and watered as needed every week. There are no fixed opening hours: the club writes that they vary with the weather and publishes the current state on its Instagram channel. Thirteen jumps over 1550 metres means you are in the air constantly and the landings come in quick succession. Our most common cause for a bike that kicks and bucks off a jump face is rebound returning too fast - slow it down with fewer clicks out so the rear does not get launched off the face.
