Sittendorf is not an ordinary practice track but a piece of Austrian motocross history. The natural circuit Am Kreuzriegel in the municipality of Wienerwald has hosted 39 world championship rounds and ranks among the best-known courses in the country; in 2026 the race runs for the 68th time, with free practice from 08:00. The operator is the Sittendorf volunteer fire brigade. That is exactly where the restriction comes from, and you need to know it before you drive: the track directory lists Sittendorf as open only for the Austrian motocross championship. Free practice for visitors is not part of the arrangement - the way onto this track is an entry form, not a practice day. Its features carry proper names: the Kinigadner steep hill as the centrepiece, the Sigi-Bauer descent, the Kaisersprung, plus off-camber stretches and steep drop-offs. On a jump face like that everyone meets the same thing: the bike kicks instead of flying. First item on our cause list is rear rebound - slow it down so the rear stops catapulting off the lip.
