The track near Langenlois in Lower Austria is run by UMCT Langenlois-Mittelberg and appears publicly as City of Motocross. The club describes it as a selective and demanding natural-terrain track with a number of jumps: 1,650 metres long, 38 metres of elevation change, at least 5 metres wide. The paddock sits directly alongside the track and toilets are available. The club states three rules explicitly: riders under 17 may only use the track under adult supervision, riding is only permitted in proper protective clothing, and walking pace applies in both directions between the parking area and the track. Events at the venue include auner CUP rounds as well as the club's own races. The club's track information page does not give training times or guest fees; there is a separate section for guest MX training. Our record holds an altitude of around 467 metres. 38 metres of elevation change over 1,650 metres means you approach the jumps almost always out of a climb or into a descent; the bike sits less settled on the faces than it would on flat ground, and the mistake only becomes visible in the air. If the rear kicks off the face, top of our cause list is rebound that is too fast at the rear: it extends the shock right at the lip and throws the rear up - slow it down by a few clicks.
