Wafna MotoPark - Ronchi dei Legionari

Wafna MotoPark sits on Via Soleschiano in Ronchi dei Legionari in the province of Gorizia and is run by Motoclub Wafna A.S.D. The regional committee of the Italian federation FMI lists it as a 3rd-category crossodromo; the track directory mxcenter.it gives 1270 metres of length and an earth surface. It is open all year on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 18:30, and on every other day only by telephone reservation. Alongside the main circuit the FMI committee describes a minicross track for beginners, a mini-enduro and extreme-enduro loop, a freestyle park with three iron ramps and a trial zone under construction. The paddock is grass and has toilets, showers and a refreshment stand; mxcenter.it lists both hot and cold showers and 220 V outlets, but no floodlighting. The club also runs practice sessions and courses, from minicross for beginners through to women's and adult training. The club gives the approach as the A4 Venice-Trieste motorway, Redipuglia-Monfalcone West exit. Entry fees are not publicly documented. According to the FMI committee the track is milled and watered regularly so that it does not dust up. Freshly worked ground means soft, mouldable ruts in the morning and a circuit that gets progressively more chewed up as the day goes on - on top of that come the jumps recorded in our data as a character trait. If the rear pitches you forward off a jump face, top of our cause list is rear rebound returning too fast: slow it down and the rear stops shoving off the lip.
