Cordenons - Viol Degan

The Crossodromo Viol Degan lies at Cordenons in the Croce del Venchiaruzzo locality and, according to the FMI regional committee of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, is run by the MC Pedemontano. It is used for motocross, minicross, enduro and cross country on a taped course. It opens all day on Sundays, with exclusive sessions only by prior arrangement, and the site stays closed in August and December. Booking runs through the FMI's online portal. Facilities include a 15,000 square metre grass car park, shaded and lit, toilets for women, men and wheelchair users, showers, a first-aid room, a bike wash area and an irrigation system. Medium-hard ground and 13 jumps in one lap mean a lot of work for the suspension and little recovery in between: the dirt does not absorb anything, so every landing goes into the bike undamped. If the rear bucks off the take-off face instead of following cleanly, top of our cause list is rebound - it returns too fast and throws the rear up. Slow it down.
