Turliky is the name of the ground the Motocross Club Spisske Vlachy calls home: 1600 metres of natural track on loamy soil, four jumps in the layout, licensed by the Slovak Motorcycle Federation. The approach is narrow - through the village to the very back, then about a kilometre of thin asphalt along the railway line before you turn right. Practice runs weekdays 15:00 to 18:00 and weekends 10:00 to 18:00. The club is an active promoter: the Slovak Cup and the International Championship of Slovakia both run here, most recently the cup round on 1 June 2025. Four jumps across 1600 metres sounds like few, but they decide the lap. They sit in natural terrain rather than in a built sequence - find, for each one, the approach you can ride twice in a row identically before you start working on distance. Off jump faces the most common problem is the bike kicking and bucking instead of leaving cleanly. First on our cause list is shock rebound: it returns too fast and launches the rear. Slow it down, a few clicks fewer out.
