The Sachsenring near Oberlungwitz is Germany's motorcycle Grand Prix circuit: 3671 metres of asphalt, tight and technical, with a layout counted among the hardest on the MotoGP calendar - ten of its corners turn left, which loads the tyres extremely one-sidedly. Alongside the Grand Prix it hosts the DTM and other series. A driver safety centre also sits on the site.
