Vision and line choice

Enduro · intermediate · vision

Where you look is where you go - your bike follows your eyes, so keep them up and far ahead. Instead of staring at the obstacle right in front of your wheel, scan two or three moves ahead: pick the line into the next section while you're still riding this one. Looking ahead gives your brain time to plan and keeps your inputs smooth; looking down makes you react late and tense up. Read the terrain for the grippiest, cleanest path - firm edges, fresh dirt, lines others have smoothed out - and commit to it early. When it gets rough or tight, lift your gaze even higher: the faster or harder the section, the further ahead you need to be looking.

Bike will not hold a tight line

A starting point to verify on the bike - not a safety guarantee. Change one thing at a time and check on track.
