MSC Freden has existed since 1924 and is the address for enduro sport in southern Lower Saxony - and its terrain differs fundamentally from a motocross lap: around 70 per cent lies in woodland, with steep climbs and singletrails. Two kilometres of loam, tight, hilly and technical. Riders coming from open motocross underestimate how different forest terrain is: the line is dictated, the light changes constantly, and roots sit exactly where open ground would give grip. Active members meet regularly to ride together.
