MC de Roumoules, under president Paul Sylvain, runs the site near Roumoules in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. According to mxcircuit.fr the motocross lap measures 1,693 metres at 8 metres wide, with a quad course of 1,350 metres alongside it; both tracks were recently rebuilt. In summer it opens on Saturdays from 8am to noon and on Sundays from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm; in winter on Saturdays from 9am to noon and on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm. A day costs 10 euros and an annual pass 50 euros, ridden on an FFM licence. Toilets, water and a wash bay are on site, and staying on the grounds is possible. The source describes the ground as clay-heavy soil with stones in it. Once watered and worked under load, that kind of ground turns sharp and cuts deep, clean ruts - ruts that buy you lap time and that will just as happily take your front wheel away.
