The track sits right on the N2 at Etroeungt in the Thierache and is run, according to mxcircuit.fr, by Moto Club de l'Avesnois. The directory gives 1610 metres of length at 6 to 8 metres wide on natural dirt. Riding is Thursdays from 14:00 to 18:00 and every other Saturday in the same window; Sundays are out. With a licence a day costs 10 euros, without one 15 euros - FFM and UFOLEP are accepted, and the entry states you may also ride without a licence. Bikes only, and a sound-level check is mandatory for every machine. Our own record holds the course as technical and loamy. Two things shape your planning here more than any suspension click: which Saturday counts as "every other" is nowhere published with a date, and the noise check is not a formality once your silencer has a full season on it. So call the club before you drive out and have them confirm the actual date - in the same call you find out which limit they measure against, and you pack fresh packing material if needed.
