The Miravalle motocross circuit sits in the Cocoioni locality near Montevarchi in the Valdarno and is run by Moto Club Brilli Peri. The town of Montevarchi lists it as a municipal sports facility with free access and points to the crossodrome secretariat for dates. The club was founded in 1927 and carries the name of the racer Gastone Brilli-Peri, who won the 1925 Italian Grand Prix. Between 1980 and 2006 the track staged top-level events, among them the 1982 Motocross of Nations. On 20 and 21 June 2026 the world championship returns after twenty years: Miravalle hosts the MXGP Gran Premio d'Italia, round nine of the season, with MXGP, MX2 and a round of the EMX250 European championship. Our record holds a hard, grown surface over roughly 1520 metres, with a jump- and technique-led character. On a track like that a lot rides on how calmly the rear leaves the jump faces. If it kicks off the lip and bucks you forward, top of our cause list is rebound returning too fast - slow it down so the rear does not get levered up on take-off.
