Eurocircuit Valkenswaard

The Eurocircuit is a sports site on the edge of Valkenswaard which, according to the municipality, houses several clubs: Motorcross Vereniging Valkenswaard, the rallycross club NRV, the BMX track Lion d'Or and the cycling club TWC de Kempen. The motocross club opens the track on Wednesdays: the gate opens at 12:00, riding runs from 13:00 to 16:59, and it is solo riders only, with sidecars and quads not admitted on that afternoon. A valid KNMV or MON licence is required; the club also states that riding does not happen in bad weather, and names 4 March 2026 as the start of the training year. The Grand Prix site for the venue documents international rounds with dates in March 2018, March 2019 and for March 2020. The planning situation is unresolved: the zoning plan dated from 1977, the municipality adopted a new one in November 2024, and in May 2025 the Raad van State provisionally restricted use by NRV and the motocross club pending a final decision. Our own record lists sand as the surface, with jumps plus fast and technical sections. That combination makes for a physically expensive afternoon: fast passages that you jump out of, and a surface that reshapes every line over the course of the day. More important than any setup detail here is access: with use currently restricted by the court and riding limited to one afternoon a week anyway, check with the club before you set off whether training is actually running on your Wednesday.
