Motorsportpark Gelderland Midden

Motorsportpark Gelderland Midden is run by the foundation of the same name and lies on the Arnhemsche Heide next to the Terlet gliding centre, right by the A50; the postal address is Kraaikamperweg 8 in Harskamp. The operator describes the cross course as a sand track of roughly 1,700 metres with several technical sections; alongside it there is a separate trial course, which stays open even when the cross course is closed for preparation work. Training runs on Wednesdays from 13.00 to 17.00, in summer additionally from 17.00 to 21.00, on Saturdays from 12.00 to 16.00 and on Sundays from 9.00 to 13.00. Access requires a valid training pass or annual pass and a KNMV basic sport licence, the pass displayed behind the windscreen, and a compulsory environmental mat; riding is allowed on the course only. For exclusive use you rent a four-hour block from 9.00 to 13.00 or 13.00 to 17.00 for 450 euro with up to ten riders, each additional rider costing 40 euro. The MXGP of the Netherlands runs here on 22 and 23 August 2026. Sand of that length goes deep and choppy over the day, and the rear is the first thing to lose its composure: it comes back too early after a hit and starts to swim. Top of our cause list for that is rebound that is too fast for sand: slow it down so the rear wheel works instead of pogoing.
