Esanatoglia - Gina Libani Repetti

The Crossodromo Gina Libani Repetti sits in the Monte Porro locality near Esanatoglia in the province of Macerata and is run by Moto Club Esanatoglia. The Mxcenter track directory lists it as a category 1 circuit homologated by FMI and UISP, 1,700 metres long, on hard ground; it opens on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. A bar, cold and hot showers and 220-volt outlets are on site; there is no floodlighting and no minicross loop. The venue has a long race history: on 30 June 1991 it staged the Gran Premio d'Italia of the 500cc class, which Cronache Maceratesi records as the club's fifth world-championship event. On 26 and 27 June 2021 international racing returned with rounds of the European Motocross Championship in the 65cc and 85cc classes and for women. Fees are not publicly documented. The ground is hard and rather stony and dries out in summer - during the European round the club watered continuously to keep the dust down. Hard ground means little sink, almost no built-up edge, and a front wheel that tells you late where the grip limit is. If the front feels vague on hardpack and you cannot find bite, top of our cause list is too much front tyre pressure: take pressure out of the front so the contact patch grows and the tyre can follow the surface.
