EnduroGP of Finland (Vierumäki)

The EnduroGP of Finland is organised by the Salpausselan Moottorikerho club and ran in 2026 from 22 to 24 May. The paddock is at the Vierumaki Sports Institute, and the terrain itself lies inside the Salpausselka UNESCO Global Geopark. One lap measures 59 kilometres and is completed three times on Saturday and again on Sunday, holding three tests - the Polisport Extreme Test, the Gmoto Enduro Test and the Expotrade Cross Test. Things start on Friday evening at 18:30 with the Akrapovic Super Test at the Sports Institute. The entry list held 122 riders from 15 nations, 37 of them in the EnduroGP class across ten manufacturers. This is not a permanently open practice venue but an event course in the forest: without a meeting you do not get onto the tests, so plan your trip around the race calendar. The organiser describes the terrain as sandy ground with stones and rooted forest trails, physically demanding and energy sapping, with little room for error. Sand makes the rear work, and over a 59-kilometre lap every bit of unsettled movement adds up to fatigue. If the rear pogos or starts to swim in deep sand, the most common cause on our list is rebound returning too fast - slow it a few clicks so the rear stops pogoing.
