Track details
Dry hardpack turns hard, slick and dusty - little grip reserve, especially on corner exit.
After rain a greasy film forms on the hard base - very slippery until the surface dries.

- 1,800 m
The track sits on the spoil heap of the former MAJ coal mine near Dubnany in South Moravia - ground that only became a motocross venue because a club went looking for land of its own. The sports club Livi Team 2000 was formed in August 2000 out of the commitment of several fathers whose sons were taking up motocross; the beginning is linked to the name Jan Istvanek. Today the lap measures 1800 metres on clay-sand ground, and the directory lists around fourteen jumps, three tabletops and a starting gate for roughly forty machines - while explicitly rating the track as one for advanced riders. Training is possible daily from 9:00 to 19:00, but only by prior phone arrangement; 50cc and 65cc machines pay 100 crowns, 85cc and above 200. A starting gate for forty machines is an invitation worth accepting. Practise your start while you are there - hardly any practice venue offers that width, and hardly any rider uses it. What becomes the issue across fourteen jump faces a lap: the bike kicks and bucks. First on our list is rear rebound - it returns too fast and launches the rear.
