The ADAC Motodrom at Hoechstaedt, also known as the KTM-Ring, looks back on more than 70 years of national and international racing history - the club was founded in 1954, and enduro and motocross have been part of it from day one. The track measures 1800 metres on hard ground in the Fichtelgebirge: hilly, technical, with built jumps. Motocross runs on Saturdays from 13:00 to 19:00 and Sundays from 13:00 to 18:00. One quirk worth knowing: you buy your training pass not at the track but at the Shell truck stop. The same site also holds an internationally recognised autocross course made of granite sand.
