CRT Dielheim (Champ Racing Team)

The track near Dielheim belongs to Champ Racing Team Dielheim e.V., which runs and opens it itself. The club states fixed hours: Wednesdays from 14:00 to 19:00 and Saturdays from 13:00 to 18:00. During its own events and in rain the track stays closed. The big track from 85cc upwards costs 25 euros, payable before first use, plus a signed liability waiver - for riders under 18 from both parents. In the paddock every motorcycle must stand on a fuel-impermeable mat, and noise levels follow the DMSB guidelines, explicitly including classic machines. The children's track is currently closed according to the club. Access is via the A6, exit Sinsheim or Wiesloch/Rauenberg; the club provides a track map, and current announcements run through its Facebook page. Track length and surface are not documented by the club - our own record holds roughly 1100 metres of hard ground with jumps and elevation change. Elevation change costs you traction above all on the climbs: the rear spins instead of driving, and the momentum you carried out of the previous corner is gone before you reach the top. Top of our cause list is too much rear tyre pressure - it shrinks the contact patch; lower it (easy to do with a mousse) for more grip. That is a starting point you refine on the climb itself, not a guarantee.
