Circuit Zandvoort

Circuit Zandvoort has been running as MASCOT Circuit Zandvoort since 2026, with MASCOT Workwear as naming partner. The operator gives the lap length as 4.3 kilometres and calls it one of the shorter circuits on the Formula 1 calendar, its fast, rolling corners shaped by the natural dunes. The official corner list names 14 turns, among them Tarzanbocht, Gerlachbocht, Hugenholtzbocht, Scheivlak, the Hans Ernst chicane and the Arie Luyendykbocht. Two of them are banked: the Hugenholtzbocht with progressive banking of up to 18 degrees, and the Arie Luyendykbocht, rebuilt in 2020, also at 18 degrees, which works out as a gradient of up to 32 per cent. The operator describes the Hunserug as one of the highest points of the circuit. Motorcycle riding is not sold by the circuit itself but by trackday organisers. Racecracks runs five sessions a day, puts riders with no circuit experience into level 1, and enforces a noise limit of 93 dB(A); going over it can cost you the rest of the day. The dune setting is what makes the lap demanding: several corners are entered blind, the ground falls away exactly where you turn in, and the two banked corners then load the bike again in one go. For that kind of fast, long corner, top of our cause list is the balance between ride height and sag: when a bike feels vague at speed it is usually that balance, not the damping.
