Terrain d'Ernee

The Terrain d'Ernee on the Chemin du Motocross at Ernee belongs to the Moto Club d'Ernee and is built for major events. The club lists a public enclosure holding 40,000 with a view of the whole track, a paddock of 30,000 square metres, a five-storey tower with a panoramic terrace, 600 square metres of catering space, a press room for 200 journalists, 20 hectares of parking and 30 hectares of camping. In 2023 it hosted the Motocross of Nations in front of more than 70,000 spectators, and in 2025 the French MXGP round on 24 and 25 May; at the MXGP Awards the club was named best organiser of 2025. The club site names no practice days, fees or access rules - if you want to ride here outside the race weekends, that is not publicly documented. Our record holds a track length of 1517 metres and a loamy surface. A track prepared and ridden to grand prix rhythm develops deep, sharply defined ruts across a weekend, and that is exactly where the line sits here. When the front knifes in and oversteers you out of the rut, top of our cause list is a fork that is too soft and rides too deep - add compression so it works higher in the stroke.
