Circuit de Lédenon

Circuit de Ledenon sits in the Gard department and is still run as a family business. According to racingcircuits.info the project goes back to local lawyer Jean-Claude Bondurand in 1970, construction started in 1971, the circuit opened in 1973, and today Sylvie Bondurand and her three children run the place. National championships arrived from 1977 onwards; these days it hosts rounds of the French GT, touring car and superbike championships. The lap measures 3151 metres, runs anti-clockwise and follows a route that has been unchanged since it first opened. The facility operates around 300 days a year, the annual budget is given as 2.6 million euros, of which 700,000 euros goes into maintenance every year. The operator itself lists riding and driving courses for adults and children, open practice, coaching, passenger rides, motorcycle track days and box rental; for 2026 an annual closure from 1 to 14 August inclusive is published. The character comes from flowing corners and the largest elevation change of any French circuit - you spend a lot of the lap over crests and through transitions where the front goes light and the exit is out of sight. If the front washes wide through the flat and off-camber sections: top of our cause list is a fork that is too firm and riding too high to build any front bite - take a little compression out.
