Motodrome Emmen sits on the Veenakkers in Emmer-Compascuum in the Dutch province of Drenthe and is run by the club MSV Motodrome Emmen, listed by the national federation MON as a club with its own circuit. The track directory mxbaaninfo.nl describes the main course as a sand track of roughly 1800 metres. A grass track sits inside that ring, and there is a separate mini track for the youngest riders. The directory carries no training times for Emmen: it states outright that no opening hours are currently on file, and the federation entry names neither fees nor a licence rule. Both are therefore not publicly documented; what is documented is the operator, the address and the layout of the site. Sand of that length asks for steady throttle and a calm rear end. The ground gets churned over a training day, deep ruts and swells build up, and the rear starts to swim as soon as it comes back too quickly after a hit. Top of our cause list for that is rebound that is too fast for sand: slow it down, a few clicks less out, so the rear stops pogoing.
