The Uhrebanen is run by Herning Motocross (HeMs). Crossbladet walked the site ahead of the season opening, which took place on Saturday 2 March 2024 at 10:15, and describes three separate courses: a maxi, a middle and a micro track. At that point the maxi track was roughly 80 per cent prepared and the best kept of the three, the middle one still needed grooming, and the micro track was untouched but usable except for PW50 riders. On jumps, the report names a run-up at a stepdown. Chairman Tue Lassen confirmed that all three tracks would get further work; the club posts the current state through its Facebook group. On the ground the report is unambiguous: it is sand, and walking it the author still found it stable, without having tested how deep it goes. Sand means ruts, lines that move and a rear that goes its own way under power. Top of our cause list for that is a rear which pogos and swims in the deep sand, and the strongest cause is rebound set too fast for sand - slow it down and the pogoing stops.
