Built in 1987, with help from the League for National Defence, on ulica Fabryczna: the Gorzów Wielkopolski motocross track has a construction date, and the club history around it is unusually well recorded. A motocross section already existed at ZKS Stal Gorzów from 1950 to 1970 - Stanisław Lisowski took the 1959 Polish vice-championship in the over-350cc class - before it folded. In 1986 Franciszek Zakrzewski founded Klub Motocrossowy PTHW, which became KM Gorzów in 1989 and was absorbed into Automobilklub Gorzowski in 1990. Its team stood 23rd in the Polish standings in 1986 and 11th in 1992; Arkadiusz Kozłowski finished fifth individually as a national team rider in 1994. Length, practice times and fees, by contrast, are nowhere on public record - the Automobilklub is the address to clear that with before you set off. We are not inventing numbers for it. That leaves the ground, and the ground is sand. The problem waiting for you there: the rear pogos and swims. First item on our cause list is rebound set too fast at the shock - fewer clicks out, so the rear stops building up.
