Around 1500 metres, a lot of sand, well-shaped jumps and plenty of turns - that is how Polish riders describe the course at Zaborowo near Leszno, run by Leszczyński Klub Motorowy Motocross Zaborowo. Practice is on Monday and Thursday, from roughly 16:00 to 17:00 onwards; when a race is scheduled for the Sunday, the Monday session is dropped. Regulars pay a monthly membership in the region of 50 złoty. The venue has hosted Polish quad championship rounds and the amateur FUN MX WEST CUP. The map puts the site at 87 metres, right next to an old gravel pit. Sand plus well-shaped jump faces is a combination that forces you to commit early. The run-up in sand is never the same twice; react at the lip and you are correcting in the air - which rarely ends well. The problem sand brings to almost everyone: the rear pogos and swims. Top of our list is shock rebound set too fast - fewer clicks out, and the rear stops building itself up.
