Wastelands Motocross Park

Wastelands Motocross Park sits on Weigles Road near Nanaimo on Vancouver Island and is run by the Nanaimo Motocross Association. The association states that the park is open year round, for casual practice as well as for training towards the race season. Memberships run from 1 February to 31 January; day passes and memberships are sold online only, and members collect the 2026 gate key from VI Powersports from 1 February 2026. Riders who already hold a full membership at one of the two other island tracks get a discount code for an associate membership from the executives. The association's event list names the Vancouver Island Motocross race series, Monday Night Kids, Ladies Night, MX schools, a VIHSS hare scramble, RC racing and manufacturer demo days. RidersWest magazine adds that the site holds a kids track, an endurocross track and an RC track alongside the motocross circuit, and that CMRC pro motocross national rounds have run here.
