Utah Motorsports Campus lies on Sheep Lane in Grantsville, west of Salt Lake City, and opened on April 1, 2006 - until 2015 under the name Miller Motorsports Park. Wikipedia lists four configurations: the Full Course at 4.486 mi (7.220 km) with 23 turns, the Outer Course at 3.048 mi (4.905 km) with 14 turns, the East Course at 2.199 mi (3.539 km) with 15 turns and the West Course at 2.19 mi (3.52 km) with 10 turns. The two-wheel history is documented: after a three-year deal announced in August 2007, the Superbike World Championship raced here for the first time on June 1, 2008 and continued through 2012, alongside MotoAmerica rounds from 2006 to 2008, from 2011 to 2013 and from 2015 to 2019. The operator today runs track days under the name Wide Open Wednesdays plus an advanced variant, along with karting, camping and day garages. In 2006 the venue was named Motorsports Facility of the Year at the Professional Motorsport World Expo. Our record lists asphalt with a technical and fast character. The combination of a long lap and a high corner count adds up to long, quickly ridden sweepers where the bike sits close to the limit of grip for an extended time - and that is where you notice immediately if the chassis attitude is wrong.
