Storo - Roversella

The circuit lies in the Localita Roversella near Darzo, a hamlet of Storo in Trentino, and is run by Moto Club Storo. mxcenter.it lists it at 1400 metres on medium-hard ground with FMI homologation in category 3. Opening follows an unusual calendar: the track can be ridden from February to October, July and August excluded, on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 to 12 and from 14 to 19. There is a bar, 220 V sockets and a minicross track; showers and floodlights are not available. The directory gives the club's phone and fax numbers and notes that the hours can change. Our record has the track down as technical with jumps, which fits medium-hard ground: grip stays predictable, the lines hold, and rhythm counts for more than power. The most important measure here is still not one on the suspension but one in the calendar - turn up in high summer and you will find the gate shut, so put your riding day on a weekend between February and June or in September and October, and call ahead.
