The track near Gnutz, close to Nortorf, is run by Motor-Sport-Club Gnutz e.V. im ADAC, founded on 3 November 1978 by the club's own account and based at Im Heisch. Riding runs from April to October on Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and on every second and fourth Wednesday from 17:00 to 21:00; for young riders there is a separate youth session on the first, third and fifth Wednesday from 17:00 to 19:00 and on the second and fourth Saturday from 14:00 to 16:00. The club grades fees by engine capacity: members pay 5 euros (50/65 cc), 10 euros (85 cc) or 15 euros (125 cc and up), guests 10 to 20 euros depending on capacity, and annual membership is 50 euros. The club states explicitly that these times are given without guarantee. The directory mx-info.de describes the course as roughly 900 metres on sandy topsoil with eight jumps - among them a 20 metre table, a step-up and a step-down - plus whoops and berms. Sandy topsoil gets deep over the course of a training day, and between the jumps the rear collects every wave instead of shedding it. When the rear pogos and starts to swim in the sand, top of our cause list is rebound that is too fast: slow it down so the rear stays settled after the landing.
