Kartbahn Liedolsheim

Kartbahn Liedolsheim, north-east of Karlsruhe, is run for kart operations by AK-Racing, which describes the asphalt circuit as 1,060 metres long and 7 metres wide, with four long straights and ten corners. Motorcycles are handled by TC Liedolsheim: the club runs its two-wheel training every Tuesday from 31 March to 20 October 2026, 18:00 to 20:00. The access rules are narrow. Only road-legal machines up to 250 cc and no louder than 90 dB are admitted; pocket bikes, pit bikes and anything above 250 cc stay out. A leather suit or leather motorcycle kit, full-face helmet, leather gloves, motorcycle boots and a back protector are mandatory, plus a signed liability waiver with a copy of your ID. The club also expects 15 volunteer hours per year and registration two weeks before training starts. Ten corners in barely a kilometre and only seven metres of width mean short straights, constant load changes and more time on corner entry than on the throttle. On tarmac this tight, the first thing you notice is the bike refusing to turn in and pushing straight on over the front wheel. Top of our cause list is a front end sitting too high: the geometry goes lazy, and more fork protrusion through the clamps is the first thing to reach for to sharpen turn-in.
