Kart-track lines: square it off and trail brake

Tight kart tracks reward a square, V-shaped line, not the sweeping arc you'd use on a big circuit. Brake deep and late in a straight line, get the bike turned hard at the apex, then pick it up early and fire out of the corner. Trail a little front brake all the way to the apex to keep weight on the front so it stays loaded and bites - let off too early and the front goes light and washes. Keep your eyes well ahead to the exit, stay loose, and be patient with the throttle until the bike is pointed where you want to go. On a kart track, getting the bike turned quickly matters far more than carrying mid-corner speed.
