Hogback Hill Motocross

Hogback Hill is owned and maintained by the Palmyra Racing Association and sits near Palmyra in western New York state. Riderplanet-USA describes roughly 75 acres holding a three-mile motocross course, a separate peewee track called Piggyback Hill for 50cc to 65cc machines with its own starting gate and novice-friendly obstacles, plus a harescramble loop made up of several miles of marked singletrack. The main track has watering and grooming systems and carries no engine size restriction. Access runs through club membership only - there are no day passes and no visitor riding - and the same source puts annual membership at 575 dollars, for single and family alike. Six Western New York races a year are open to the public. On site you get water, restrooms, a spray station, a covered pavilion with bleachers and concessions during scheduled events. The layout mixes many small jumps with a few large ones and berms throughout, so it is rhythm work with little rest between faces, and the woods loop asks something completely different from the MX course. Since you cannot ride here at all without a membership, and joining runs through an application, sort your status out before you travel: turning up on spec ends at the gate.
