Cozar Motor Ranch sits on the Camino del Salobral near Cozar in the province of Ciudad Real and is managed by Jose Ramon Lorca. The track directory mxcircuit.es gives the motocross layout as 1,800 metres long and eight to nine metres wide, on medium-hard ground with an automatic irrigation system; it was designed by Gaby Villada and Greg Atkins. Two enduro loops of 1.7 and 4 kilometres are also there, one running through oak forest and the other through pines, plus a paintball area. Riding is in the mornings from 9:00 to 14:00, enduro costs 15 euro and motocross 20 euro. Toilets and a bar are listed among the facilities; there is no wash area and no timing system. The same directory rates the venue as an MXGP-level circuit and records several rounds of the Spanish Cross Country Championship. Medium-hard, irrigated ground changes character over the course of a morning: while it is damp it grips, then it dries out, goes hard, and the front end starts reporting back only vaguely.
