Circuit du Puech Rampant - Castelnau-de-Levis

The Circuit du Puech Rampant near Castelnau-de-Levis in the Tarn is run by Motocross Club Castelnau-de-Levis. The club states that it offers around ten authorised training days a year, supervised by trained volunteers, with registration handled through the FFM's engagement platform. Only riders carrying a valid current-year licence and an ID card are admitted, and entering the track while a group is running is forbidden without exception. One published training Sunday ran from 10am to noon and from 1pm to 5pm, and quads are admitted on certain dates. For events the club describes a paddock for up to 250 riders across 20000 square metres, plus camping, toilets, showers, a wash area, a press room with WiFi and several parking areas; children up to 13 enter free with ID. For 2026 the club announces the 24 MX Tour season opener from 28 February to 1 March as well as opening rounds of the Sidecarcross and Quadcross World Championships, and cites 350 riders from 20 nations for its events. The club says nothing about the soil; our own record lists hardpack with a technical character and jumps. On ground beaten hard the front tyre barely deflects, the front end feels vague and gives you little feedback. Top of our cause list for that is too much front tyre pressure. Take some out so the contact patch grows. And with only about ten training days released per year, secure your date early.
