Boleráz in the Trnava region has one clear house rule: the compound is shut, and without a phone call first you are not riding. The Slovak track directory puts it exactly that way - the track is rideable again and training is possible, but the site is closed and has to be arranged in advance. Martin Bednár and Ján Hanis are the people to call; the fee is five euros for 50cc and ten euros for anything from 65cc upwards. Track length and elevation are documented nowhere, but the character is: technical. A closed venue with a booking requirement is more of an advantage to you than a hurdle. You know in advance how many people will be out there, and on a technical course that is worth more than any opening hours - otherwise you spend the day stuck behind someone braking in the tight section. And that is usually where it goes wrong: the front knifes into the rut and oversteers. Top of our list is a fork set too soft - it dives too deep and folds away; add compression.
