Barbania

The Barbania motocross track lies in the Mulino locality near Barbania, north of Turin. The Mxcenter track directory lists it at 1,400 metres on medium-hard ground, homologated by UISP and Motoasi in category 3; there is no minicross loop. The season runs from 1 April to 31 October, with riding on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and all day Sunday, plus a note to get in touch before travelling. A bar is documented as a facility; showers, 220-volt outlets and floodlighting are not. The approach runs along the northern Turin ring road, exit Caselle airport, then follows signs towards the Barbania cemetery and the Ingleisa locality. The municipality of Barbania lists Motoclub Barbania, founded in 1993, under the same phone number that appears in the track directory; fees are not publicly documented. Our record has hardpack and a technical character - on medium-hard ground the line decides, not the power, and tight corner combinations punish every turn-in started too late. When the bike will not hold a tight line, top of our cause list is too little rear ride height making the steering lazy. Raise the rear or drop the front so it turns in more sharply.
