Aonia Pass MX

Aonia Pass MX sits at 3030 Thomson Road in Washington, Georgia. Racer X records the venue as a regular host of the GNCC round "The General", run there every spring from 2018 to 2024, with the additional round "The Bulldog" in 2020. The site includes a large campground: the pitch provider RoverPass lists 140 full-hookup sites with water, power and sewer, plus dry camping, a bathhouse with hot showers and a fishing lake; loud generators are not permitted in the hookup areas. The track directory MX Track Guide describes the AMA-sanctioned circuit as 1.7 miles long and 25 feet wide in most sections, groomed every few days and watered and tilled every weekend. Our record holds clay as the surface. Ground watered and tilled that regularly takes deep ruts, and that is exactly where it is decided whether the front end holds. If the front knifes and oversteers in a rut, top of our cause list is a fork that is too soft: it rides too low and knifes into the rut - add compression at the front.
