Tire pressure reference values

Plausibility anchors for per-bike base values; engine deltas move within these bands. Affected keys: tire_pressure_front, tire_pressure_rear.

Track slicks: Michelin Power Slick 2 front 2.1 bar cold to 2.4 hot target, rear 1.5 to 1.7. Pirelli Diablo Superbike hot targets ~2.1-2.4 front / 1.6-1.8 rear. Key fact: slick REAR runs much lower than the front; the target is the HOT pressure (cold to hot +0.15-0.4 bar depending on pace); with warmers (45+ min) set pressure on the warmer.

Rain tires: Pirelli Diablo Rain front 2.0-2.3, rear 1.9-2.0 bar cold. Rain tires do NOT run lower than slicks - pressure keeps the tread open for water evacuation. The engine wet rule (-0.1) addresses slicks/track tires caught in rain.

Motocross: standard ~0.83 bar both ends; sand/mud rear 0.69-0.76; hardpack 0.86-0.9; rocks +0.07-0.14 rim protection. Kawasaki KX manuals: 0.8-1.0 bar recommended, 0.8 for wet/sandy. The MX band is narrow: 0.1 bar is a noticeable change.

Supermoto: Metzeler Racetec SM front 1.6-1.8 / rear 1.5-1.6 bar cold. Manufacturer differences are large (Dunlop KR rear ~2.0) - maintain base values per bike/tire; engine deltas are only relative.

Enduro: 0.5-0.8 bar only safe with mousse/inserts; with mousse "pressure" is fixed (~0.8 bar equivalent, drops with age) - recommendations become informational.
