About 150 acres of man-made terrain on Route 5S near Fort Plain, sitting between roughly 650 and 700 feet: a motocross track, a supercross track and a peewee track are documented, with many small jumps, a few large ones and berms almost everywhere. There are no rocks, no water crossings and no steep hills, and only a handful of marked hazards. The listed riding fee is 25 dollars, the listed hours are Tuesday 16:30 to 20:30 plus selected Saturdays, and night riding is permitted. Check before you travel whether riding is happening. A track made almost entirely of berms tempts you to fall into them. That is exactly the mistake: use the berm as a crutch and you learn nothing about the front end - go looking for the flat exits and work on turn-in there. The problem loamy ground with deep ruts brings for nearly everyone: the front knifes and oversteers. First on our cause list is a fork set too soft that rides too low and folds into the rut - add compression.
