900 metres between Bad Klosterlausnitz and Tautenhain, laid out with a supercross character - that is the short version of what awaits you at MSV Kuehns Hoeh. Short does not mean harmless: over that little distance the elements sit close together, you barely get a breather between two jumps, and rhythm decides more than top speed. The operators groom and water the track regularly, which this layout genuinely needs. Opening is Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 21:00 and Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 09:00 to 17:00; the training fee is 10 euros on every day of the week. Overnight stays on site are free by arrangement, and grilling is permitted. On the jump faces here you meet what you meet on jump faces everywhere: the bike kicks and bucks instead of leaving cleanly. At the very top of our cause list is a rear rebound returning too fast and launching the back end off the face - slow it down, fewer clicks out, and do it in small steps.
